Job Description
Job Overview:
- We are looking for a seasoned Senior PLM Windchill Consultant with 9 to 15 years of expertise in the implementation, solution design, customization, integration, administration, and support of Windchill PLM systems.
- The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in PLM transformation projects, product data management, engineering change management, CAD integrations, system architecture, and stakeholder engagement.
Core Responsibilities:
- Lead comprehensive implementation and enhancement initiatives for PTC Windchill PLM.
- Architect and execute PLM solution design and deployment strategies.
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to gather detailed requirements and outline PLM roadmaps.
- Configure and tailor Windchill modules according to business specifications.
- Design and implement workflows, lifecycles, change management processes, and release protocols.
- Oversee the integration of Windchill with ERP, SAP, MES, CAD, and other enterprise systems.
- Manage product structures, BOMs, part management, document management, and configuration management.
- Supervise Windchill upgrades, migrations, and modernization efforts.
- Create custom solutions leveraging Java, Windchill APIs, Info Engine, REST, SOAP Services, and web technologies.
- Conduct system performance tuning, troubleshooting, and governance tasks.
- Mentor junior consultants and provide technical guidance.
- Support global teams in engineering, manufacturing, and product development.
- Ensure adherence to industry standards and best practices in PLM.
Technical Qualifications:
- A minimum of 9 years of experience with Windchill PLM.
- Proficient in Windchill PDMLink, Change Management, and Workflow Management.
- Experience in Windchill customization utilizing Java, JSP, JavaScript, XML, and APIs.
- Hands-on expertise with Info Engine Business Rules and Windchill Administration.
- Thorough understanding of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Product Data Management (PDM).
- Experience in BOM Management, Configuration Management, and Document Control.
- Familiarity with Creo Integration and CAD Data Management.
- Proven experience integrating Windchill with SAP, Oracle ERP, and MES systems.
- Strong grasp of database concepts and SQL.
- Experience in solution architecture and large-scale PLM implementations.
- Outstanding stakeholder management and communication skills.
Supplementary Responsibilities:
- Experience with MPMLink, ProjectLink, Creo View, and ThingWorx.
- Exposure to cloud migration and digital transformation projects.
- Background in manufacturing sectors such as automotive, aerospace, industrial equipment, or medical devices.
- Experience with Agile and Scrum project methodologies.
- PLM Windchill Certification is highly desirable.
