BI Consultant

Core Responsibilities:

• Experience a day in the life of an Infosys consultant
• As a member of the Infosys consulting team, your main responsibility will be to delve into client challenges, identify problem areas, design creative solutions, and oversee their implementation to ensure client satisfaction
• You will take ownership of sections within proposal documents, contributing insights for solution design based on your expertise
• Your role will include planning configuration activities, configuring products as per design specifications, conducting conference room pilots, and assisting in clarifying any questions related to requirements and solution design
• You will facilitate product demonstrations, conduct Proof of Concept (POC) workshops, and prepare effort estimates that align with client budgetary constraints while adhering to the organization’s financial policies
• Lead small-scale projects and actively participate in unit-level and organizational initiatives aimed at delivering high-quality, value-added solutions to clients

Technical Qualifications:

• We seek candidates with a minimum of 5 years of experience in designing, developing, and implementing reporting solutions using Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) and Oracle Analytics Server (OAS), along with a total of 7 years in the IT industry
• The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of data and semantic modeling principles
• Experience in implementing or supporting large Business Intelligence (BI) systems or solutions is essential
• The candidate must demonstrate the ability to comprehend business and functional requirements, translating them into precise design specifications
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are required
• Effective communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with team members across various geographical locations are necessary

Additional Responsibilities:

• Ability to develop value-creating strategies and models that empower clients to innovate, drive growth, and enhance their business profitability
• Solid knowledge of software configuration management systems
• Awareness of the latest technologies and industry trends
• Strong logical reasoning and problem-solving skills, coupled with the ability to collaborate effectively
• Understanding of financial processes for various project types and available pricing models
• Capability to assess current processes, identify improvement opportunities, and recommend appropriate technology solutions
