Essential Qualifications

· A minimum of three years of practical experience in administering and supporting Databricks within a production setting.

· Valid certifications in AWS and Databricks.

· Proven experience in managing enterprise-level Databricks environments on AWS.

· In-depth understanding of:

o Administration of Databricks accounts and workspaces

o Unity Catalog and governance of access

o Policies related to compute and jobs

o Strategies for cost optimization

o AWS IAM, VPC networking and security measures, KMS, DynamoDB, MSK, S3, Private links, and CloudWatch

o Automation using Databricks REST APIs and CLI

o Data pipelines, SQL, and ETL processes
