Oracle CPQ Consultant

Key Responsibilities:

• Within the Infosys consulting team, your main responsibility will be to delve into customer challenges, identify problem areas, create innovative solutions, and oversee deployment to ensure client satisfaction.
• You will take ownership of sections of the proposal document and contribute insights on solution design based on your areas of expertise.
• Your role will involve planning configuration activities, configuring the product according to the design, conducting conference room pilots, and assisting in addressing any queries related to requirements and solution design.
• You will facilitate product demonstrations, Proof of Concept (POC) workshops, and prepare cost estimates that align with the customer's budgetary constraints while adhering to the organization's financial policies.
• Lead small projects actively and participate in unit-level and organizational initiatives aimed at delivering high-quality, value-added solutions to clients.

Technical Requirements:

• We seek candidates with at least 5 years of experience in Oracle CPQ Big Machines, including proficiency in BML and BMQL.
• A combination of CPQ design and development experience is essential.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, CSS, and XML is required.
• Strong product knowledge is a must.
• You should be capable of fulfilling the role of CPQ Designer Developer based on project needs.
• Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies is important.
• Experience in standard operating procedures for pre and post-production support activities is necessary.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with technical leads to design and develop all necessary software to meet project requirements.
• Write code in BML, BMQL, JavaScript, Java, etc., to fulfill product specifications and requirements.
• Create PL/SQL and SQL interfaces and reports as needed to support desired functionality.
• Thoroughly document all technical design choices and code in design documentation.
• Engage with Oracle Support Services to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Develop integrated test scenarios, identify test data, and execute testing procedures.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve identified issues while documenting the results.
• Initiate and participate in production rollout processes.
• Possess excellent communication and presentation skills.
