Operations Coordinator

About the Role

In the position of Operations Coordinator, you will ensure the seamless functioning of autonomous vehicle operations from the depot to the road. Your primary objective is to guarantee that each vehicle is safe, prepared, and performing optimally. You will harmonize personnel, processes, and technology to achieve impeccable operations in a dynamic, compliance-driven environment. This role integrates aspects of fleet management, shift scheduling, leadership, and proactive problem-solving, making you essential to the testing and deployment of autonomous vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the main on-site representative for daily operations at the AV depot.
• Manage vehicle readiness, including charging, cleaning, inspections, and software updates.
• Organize shift schedules and maintain precise records of fleet status, attendance, and incidents.
• Collaborate with vendors, fleet teams, and support services to ensure operational continuity.
• Oversee and uphold compliance with safety protocols and regulatory standards.
• Prepare and sustain documentation for audits and reporting purposes.
• Quickly escalate operational challenges to the appropriate teams for resolution.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of relevant experience in operations, logistics, or customer service
• Excellent interpersonal skills with confidence in face-to-face interactions
• Basic knowledge of Excel and data management software
• Willingness to work in outdoor parking environments; this is a non-desk position
• Self-sufficient, detail-oriented, and able to adapt in a fast-paced setting
• Must possess a valid Class 3A driver's license
