Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Mobile Testing Technology Lead with extensive hands-on experience in mobile application testing and automation. The successful candidate will possess expertise in testing both iOS and Android applications, developing and maintaining automated test scripts with Appium, and ensuring the overall quality, stability, and dependability of mobile apps.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Design, plan, and implement comprehensive mobile testing strategies for new features and regression cycles on iOS and Android platforms.
• Develop and maintain detailed test cases, test data, and execution reports in line with business requirements and acceptance standards.
• Conduct functional, smoke, sanity, regression, and exploratory testing utilizing real devices, emulators, and simulators.
• Create, refine, and sustain reusable and robust mobile automation scripts using Appium.
• Run automated test suites, identify failures, troubleshoot issues, and document defects with precise reproduction steps and supporting evidence.
• Work collaboratively with developers and cross-functional teams to validate fixes and mitigate regression risks.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, contribute to test planning, risk assessment, and facilitate timely QA approval for releases.
• Identify testing gaps, optimize testing processes, enhance automation stability, and improve test execution efficiency continually.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

• 3 to 10 years of experience in mobile application testing and quality assurance roles.
• Proven practical expertise in mobile test automation, particularly with Appium.
• Hands-on experience with iOS application testing and automation, with exposure to Android testing environments.
• Solid understanding of functional, regression, smoke, sanity, and exploratory testing methodologies.
• Experience in developing, executing, and maintaining automated testing scripts.
• Excellent defect reporting, debugging, analytical thinking, and communication capabilities.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with development and QA teams within an Agile framework.
• Educational background in B.E./B.Tech/BCA or equivalent qualification.
