Machine Learning Engineer

Our client, a leading technology firm specializing in cutting-edge AI and video intelligence solutions for practical applications, is seeking a Junior Machine Learning Engineer to become part of their Model Engineering team in Singapore.

This role presents a hands-on opportunity for individuals eager to engage deeply with machine learning models, rather than just utilizing pre-existing ones. You will play a key role in the development and enhancement of computer vision models in various domains, including:

• Training, fine-tuning, and assessing computer vision models
• Handling tasks such as image classification, object detection, segmentation, pose estimation, and action recognition
• Experimenting with diverse model architectures and training methodologies
• Benchmarking innovative approaches and evaluating model performance
• Exploring model limitations while enhancing accuracy, robustness, and efficiency
• Collaborating with engineering teams to ensure dataset quality and optimize model performance
• Considering essential factors like latency, throughput, and computational efficiency
• This position offers insights into the complete lifecycle of computer vision model development, from experimentation and training to performance optimization.

Ideal Candidate:

• Open to recent graduates or candidates with up to 2 years of relevant experience, based on hands-on project involvement
• Practical experience in training, fine-tuning, and evaluating computer vision models
• Familiarity with at least one of the following areas: classification, object detection, segmentation, pose estimation, or action recognition
• Proficient in using PyTorch and/or TensorFlow
• A strong passion for Computer Vision / Deep Learning and model development
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related technical discipline
• Python proficiency is preferred
