IT&Data Product Analyst SCP

Job Overview:

• The IT Data Product Analyst for Supply Chain plays a vital role in understanding the requirements of end users and the business, assisting the Product Owner in converting the product vision into actionable, prioritized, and measurable outcomes.
• This position serves as a liaison between Supply Chain stakeholders and product delivery teams by collecting and organizing requirements, analyzing data, refining acceptance criteria, managing risks, and tracking product performance.
• The role is designed to enhance value creation, boost user adoption, improve product efficacy, and foster continuous enhancement within the Supply Chain product ecosystem.
• Essential elements include clear business requirements, evidence-based prioritization, mutual understanding among stakeholders and delivery teams, and ongoing improvements to Supply Chain products fueled by user feedback and performance data.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Comprehending end user needs and conducting business analysis
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of Supply Chain processes, user journeys, obstacles, and desired business outcomes
• Engage with end users and business stakeholders through interviews, workshops, observations, and feedback sessions
• Requirements gathering, refinement, and prioritization
• Work closely with the Product Owner to collect, structure, validate, and prioritize requirements
• Generate and maintain product requirements, user stories, functional specifications, and accompanying documentation
• Assist in backlog refinement by clarifying scope, assumptions, dependencies, constraints, and anticipated outcomes
• Product communication and stakeholder alignment
• Aid the Product Owner in articulating the product vision, business needs, priorities, and expected benefits in a manner comprehensible to all stakeholders
• Act as a conduit between Supply Chain users, product management, solution architects, data teams, developers, testers, and delivery partners
• Prepare clear materials for decision-making sessions, governance forums, demonstrations, and user engagement
• Data analysis and insight generation
• Gather, validate, and analyze pertinent product, process, and user data to support product decisions
• Identify patterns, trends, correlations, exceptions, and root causes that can guide product strategy and prioritization
• Delivery, testing, and release readiness
• Support delivery teams throughout the solution design, build, and configuration phases by clarifying requirements and expected outcomes
• Collaborate with testing and business teams to define test scenarios and facilitate functional validation and user acceptance testing
• Ensure that delivered functionality meets agreed-upon requirements and acceptance criteria
• Risk, dependency, and change management
• Assist the Product Owner in recognizing, assessing, and mitigating risks that could impact product success
• Identify interdependencies across Supply Chain processes, data integrations, systems, and delivery teams
• Maintain transparency regarding assumptions, constraints, issues, and decisions that influence requirements or product outcomes
• Product performance and continuous improvement
• Evaluate product effectiveness, usage, adoption, user satisfaction, and business outcomes
• Discover improvement opportunities and suggest actions to enhance product value, usability, effectiveness, and profitability

Technical Qualifications:

• Must have
• Robust business analysis and requirements engineering skills, including experience with user stories and acceptance criteria
• Solid understanding of end-to-end Supply Chain processes and how digital products support them
• Ability to analyze data, identify patterns, and translate findings into actionable insights
• Experience with backlog refinement, prioritization, functional validation, and user acceptance testing
• Capability to map processes, clarify business rules, and organize complex information
• Exceptional stakeholder communication, workshop facilitation, and relationship management abilities
• Proficiency in communicating effectively with business, product, architecture, data, and technical delivery teams
• Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and attention to detail skills
• Collaborative, user-centric, value-oriented, and focused on continuous improvement
• Ability to thrive in a complex, multi-team, and multi-vendor environment

• Familiarity with Agile product management and delivery methodologies
• Knowledge of Supply Chain Planning, Logistics, Manufacturing, Customer Service, Quality, or Procurement processes
• Experience with analytics, reporting, or visualization tools and general data concepts
• Familiarity with enterprise platforms, APIs, integrations, and master data concepts
• Experience supporting product adoption, change management, or business readiness initiatives
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain, Business, IT, Data Engineering, or a related area
• Five years of experience in product analysis, business analysis, Supply Chain digital solutions, or enterprise delivery
• Demonstrated ability to translate stakeholder needs into clear requirements and assist in product delivery within a complex organization
• Relevant certifications in business analysis, Agile product management, data analytics, or Supply Chain are advantageous
