IT Service desk associate

Job Overview

We are seeking an IT Service Desk Associate to deliver exceptional technical support to our users. The successful candidate will possess a strong enthusiasm for technology and a commitment to assisting others in resolving their IT-related challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver first-level technical assistance to end-users through phone, email, or chat channels.
• Identify and troubleshoot hardware and software problems.
• Handle and prioritize incoming service requests and incidents using a ticketing system.
• Document and revise technical procedures and maintain knowledge base articles.
• Support employee onboarding and offboarding processes by providing essential IT assistance.
• Refer unresolved issues to higher-level support or management as required.
• Oversee asset inventory and contribute to IT asset management efforts.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Fundamental knowledge of IT support processes and methodologies.
• Familiarity with various operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and standard software applications.
• Understanding of networking concepts and troubleshooting methods.
• Excellent communication skills with a customer-centric approach.
• Able to collaborate effectively within a team as well as work independently.
• Basic knowledge of ticketing systems and IT service management (ITSM) frameworks.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, ITIL) are advantageous.

Qualification: Graduates or 10+3 Diploma holders

Experience: 6 months to 4 years in IT Service Desk or International Technical Support voice process

Shift: Rotational shifts with 2 rotational days off

Salary: 5 Lakhs - 5.5 Lakhs + Shift Allowance
