Your Role And Responsibilities

As an Infrastructure Specialist for Cloud Platforms, you will design, manage, and implement infrastructure solutions across multiple cloud environments based on approved designs, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security. You will also work closely with IT teams to implement and integrate cloud infrastructure solutions aligned with existing designs.

Your Primary Responsibilities Will Include

• Manage Cloud Infrastructure: Set up, configure, and administer virtual machines, storage solutions, networking, and databases across different cloud platforms to support business applications effectively.
• Implement Cloud Resources: Manage key cloud resources including Virtual Private Clouds (VPCs), Load Balancers, and Cloud Storage solutions to maintain smooth operations.
• Ensure High Availability: Monitor infrastructure continuously, troubleshoot issues, and sustain high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) configurations to deliver dependable performance.
• Optimize Cloud Costs: Right-size resources, create cost-efficient solutions, and track usage patterns to help optimize cloud spending.
• Automate Processes: Apply automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and native cloud automation services to automate and streamline processes.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

• Cloud Services Proficiency: Hands-on experience with cloud services from providers such as Oracle Cloud, Nutanix Cloud, Alibaba Cloud, and others, as well as expertise in Linux and VMware environments.
• DevOps Practices: Experience with DevOps practices, including continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD), and using these practices to manage cloud infrastructure.
• Automation Tools: Experience with automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and native cloud automation services to automate and streamline processes.
• Cloud Migration: Experience delivering cloud migration projects, including implementation and execution, with the capability to plan, manage, and execute cloud migration initiatives.
• Kubernetes Cluster Management: Ability to manage Kubernetes clusters across a variety of cloud environments to enable container orchestration and scaling.

• Cloud Security Best Practices: Experience implementing and enforcing cloud security controls to meet organizational policies and industry regulations, including data encryption, access controls, and threat detection.
• Advanced Cloud Automation: Experience with advanced automation tools and scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell to automate complex cloud infrastructure tasks and workflows.
• Multi-Cloud Expertise: Experience managing and integrating multiple cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and others, to deliver a seamless and efficient cloud infrastructure.
