Informatica Admin

Job Description:

• We are looking for a skilled Informatica Administrator with 3 to 5 years of direct experience in the administration, monitoring, maintenance, and support of Informatica environments.
• The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Informatica PowerCenter Administration, including platform upgrades, performance optimization, security management, and production support for ETL environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage Informatica PowerCenter environments across Development, QA, UAT, and Production stages.
• Conduct installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, and migration of various Informatica components.
• Monitor the performance of Informatica repositories, integration services, workflows, and servers.
• Administer user access, roles, security groups, and repository permissions.
• Troubleshoot ETL job failures and resolve production issues within agreed SLA timelines.
• Collaborate closely with ETL developers, database administrators, and infrastructure teams.
• Execute repository backup, recovery activities, and disaster recovery testing.
• Analyze and enhance the performance of Informatica servers and workflows.
• Assist in deployment and release management processes across environments.
• Configure and maintain scheduling tools such as Control M or Autosys.
• Ensure platform health checks, capacity planning, and system monitoring are maintained.
• Create operational documentation, SOPs, and knowledge articles.
• Engage in on-call support and incident management tasks.
• Ensure adherence to security, audit, and governance standards.

• Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS)
• AWS and Azure Cloud Exposure
• Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD processes
• Proficiency in Python scripting
