Job Summary

The role involves the preparation and management of ingredients and materials for lessons in Food & Consumer Education and Nutrition & Food Science. You will uphold the cleanliness of the kitchen and its equipment, manage inventory and records, and efficiently support lesson schedules.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients and materials to assist in Food & Consumer Education (FCE) and Nutrition & Food Science (NFS) lessons
• Accurately portion and distribute ingredients as per lesson specifications
• Procure and order ingredients, ensuring that deliveries match orders for correctness
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen workstations, sinks, stoves, refrigerators, utensils, and equipment to uphold safety and hygiene standards
• Keep detailed stock records and promptly replenish supplies to prevent shortages
• Support annual stock-taking activities and conduct regular maintenance on equipment to ensure it remains functional
• Maintain accurate records of food purchase invoices and arrange classrooms in accordance with class schedules

Required competencies and certifications

• Possession of a minimum GCE O-Level qualification with fundamental Mathematics skills

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a comparable environment
• Capability to work autonomously and manage responsibilities under tight deadlines
• Strong communication skills and a proactive approach

• Location: Paya Lebar
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7.30am to 3.30pm
