Finance & Compliance Executive – (Accounts, Taxation & NBFC Operations)

Position Title: Executive - Finance, Taxation & NBFC Operations

Educational Background:

• B.Com / M.Com / BBA / MBA (Finance) or equivalent degree
• CA, CA Inter, CMA Inter, or Semi-Qualified CA is desirable
• Graduates in any field with relevant experience in NBFC/Finance are also encouraged to apply

Professional Experience:

• 1-5 years of relevant experience in Finance, Accounts, Taxation, Compliance, or NBFC Operations.
• Preference will be given to candidates with experience in NBFCs, Financial Services, Fintech Companies, CA Firms, or related Accounting & Compliance roles.

Role Overview:

We are looking for a motivated individual to oversee finance, accounting, taxation, compliance, and NBFC operational functions. This position involves managing accounts payable, ensuring statutory compliance, supporting audits, filing taxes, handling loan operations, and adhering to regulatory requirements, all while maintaining accuracy and efficiency in line with applicable laws and internal policies.

Main Responsibilities:

Finance & Accounting:

• Oversee the entire accounts payable process, which includes invoice processing and vendor payments.
• Conduct vendor reconciliations and address discrepancies.
• Maintain comprehensive vendor master records and KYC documentation.
• Prepare payment forecasts, ageing reports, provisions, and month-end closing schedules.
• Facilitate statutory, internal, and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.

Taxation & Compliance:

• Prepare and file Income Tax Returns, TDS/TCS Returns, and calculate Advance Tax.
• Manage GST compliance, including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9/9C filings, ITC reconciliation, and notice management.
• Conduct tax audits and assist in the preparation of audit reports and working papers.
• Ensure compliance with ROC and Companies Act regulations, including AOC-4, MGT-7, DIR-3 KYC, ADT-1, and other event-based filings.
• Stay updated on regulatory changes to ensure timely compliance with statutory deadlines.

NBFC Operations:

• Oversee loan lifecycle operations, including KYC verification, documentation review, sanction processing, and disbursement assistance.
• Maintain and regularly update loan records in LMS/Core systems.
• Monitor repayments, EMI collections, NACH/ECS mandates, and posting of receipts.
• Handle loan closures, foreclosures, and the issuance of NOCs.
• Ensure compliance with RBI guidelines, KYC/AML regulations, and internal operational controls.
• Collaborate with credit, collections, accounts, sales, and customer service teams.
• Prepare MIS reports and address operational exceptions and customer inquiries.

Qualifications and Experience:

• B.Com / M.Com / BBA / MBA (Finance) or an equivalent qualification
• CA, CA Inter, CMA Inter, or Semi-Qualified CA is preferred
• Graduates in any field with relevant NBFC/Finance experience are also welcome to apply
• 1-5 years of experience in Finance, Accounts, Taxation, Compliance, or NBFC Operations.
• Candidates should possess hands-on experience in at least two of the following areas: Accounts & Finance, GST, Income Tax, TDS, ROC Compliance, NBFC/Lending Operations
• Preference will be given to those with experience in NBFCs, Financial Services, Fintech Companies, CA Firms, or Accounting & Compliance functions.

Skills & Competencies:

• In-depth knowledge of Accounting Principles, GST, TDS, Income Tax, ROC compliance, and Audit processes.
• Familiarity with NBFC products, loan lifecycle management, KYC/AML regulations, and RBI guidelines.
• Proficient in accounting software such as Tally, SAP, Zoho, Busy, or similar platforms.
• Advanced skills in MS Excel, including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, MIS reporting, and data analysis.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation abilities.
• Exceptional attention to detail and capacity to manage multiple tasks within deadlines.
