Position Title: Electrical Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities

- Collaborate with various Teams/Departments to support detailed engineering tasks

- Execute engineering calculations and create specifications & data sheets, single line diagrams, electrical layouts, cable schedules, interconnection diagrams, material take-offs (MTO), and more.

- Utilize ETAP for power system analysis, including load flow, short circuit analysis, motor starting, harmonic analysis, and relay coordination studies.

- Engage in procurement engineering tasks, including the preparation of requisitions/TBE/VDR for major electrical equipment, vendor/client coordination, and participation in FAT.

- Oversee and guide the activities of Junior Engineers/Designers

- Conduct model reviews using Navis Works or similar software

- Possess knowledge of international codes and standards

- Experience in construction support, field engineering, pre-commissioning, and commissioning is a plus

- Familiar with ISO and quality control procedures

- Proficient in SPEL, Dialux, or equivalent tools for lighting calculations, as well as MS Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Educational Background

A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering

Professional Experience

Approximately 9 - 20 years of experience in electrical engineering, specifically within oil and gas projects
