Oracle Cloud Administration

The role of an Oracle Principal SOA/FMW Administrator demands strong infrastructure and consulting capabilities. The selected candidate will play a key role in the setup, installation, configuration, and support of the SOA/FMW infrastructure. Candidates should be willing to participate in 24x7 projects across any assigned shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and execute complex OCI projects, ensuring successful implementation and high levels of customer satisfaction.

• Track project progress, identify potential risks, and apply mitigation strategies to achieve successful project results.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain effective communication and teamwork throughout the project lifecycle.

• Serve as the escalation point for intricate infrastructure and application-related challenges, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption.

Technical Competencies:

• In-depth knowledge and practical experience with OCI architecture, including building and deploying core OCI services/components.

• Strong background in Oracle SOA Suite and Middleware platforms, including Oracle Integration Cloud.

• Extensive hands-on experience in administering Middleware environments (Installation, Configuration, Migrations, Tuning, Patching, Administration & Monitoring) on platforms such as Oracle SOA, ODI, MFT & OIC.

• Expertise in architecting and managing Oracle IaaS/PaaS/SaaS platforms.

• Advanced knowledge of Oracle Database, Oracle Exadata, Oracle RAC/ASM, Data Guard, Backup & Recovery, etc.

• Proficient DBA performance tuning capabilities.

• Significant hands-on experience with the installation, configuration, performance tuning, and troubleshooting of Oracle GoldenGate.

• Conduct feasibility studies and design reviews to ensure solutions are both robust and scalable.

• Remain informed about the latest OCI features and best practices to enhance solution designs continuously.

• Exceptional problem-solving, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills to address complex technical issues independently.

• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills, capable of conveying technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Proven leadership and team management abilities, with a talent for motivating and inspiring diverse teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience or familiarity with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.

• Interest and capability in researching and developing internal capability solutions and methodologies.

• Experience with additional cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.

• Background in the administration of retail products like MOM, RIB, or MDO.
