Facilities Management Executive

Position Overview

This role is focused on ensuring structural adherence, managing operational maintenance, and overseeing vendor relationships to promote effective facility management. Individuals in this position will be pivotal in upholding safety protocols and enhancing operational workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute mandatory structural assessments and perform visual inspections to evaluate building stability. Organize, oversee, and schedule maintenance for all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems, which encompass air conditioning and fire protection systems. Manage logistics within the workspace, including office seating arrangements and internal relocations. Supervise performance evaluations of service providers and conduct consistent service assessments to guarantee compliance with established standards. Ensure adherence to workplace safety regulations and sustainability practices while performing regular safety evaluations. Manage the internal facilities helpdesk, maintain user satisfaction, and monitor the inventory of facility assets.

Qualifications

• Education: A Diploma or Degree in Facilities Management, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Civil/Structural Engineering, Building Services, or a similar field. Experience: At least 2 years of experience in corporate office, commercial, or industrial facilities management. Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of relevant building control legislation and safety regulations. Defect Recognition: Capability to differentiate between cosmetic and structural defects. Certifications: Preference for candidates who are certified Fire Safety Managers, WSH officers, or Green Mark Professionals. Interpersonal Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, excellent coordination capabilities, and effective communication.
