Draftsperson

Overview:

We invite you to become a vital member of our team as an Engineering Drafter, where you will be instrumental in producing comprehensive engineering drawings for both new initiatives and retrofit projects. This role provides a chance to engage in innovative engineering solutions while ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop both outline and detailed drawings at the required scale in accordance with specifications from relevant authorities or customer requirements.
• Create initial drawings derived from sales quotations.
• Draft single line, termination, and arrangement drawings aligned with the project scope.
• Gather necessary documentation for vendor submissions to customers and regulatory agencies.
• Oversee the progress of engineering activities to guarantee timely documentation completion.
• Maintain systematic records of work schedules and establish organized filing systems for documentation, such as repair receipts and inspection reports.
• Support the planning, tracking, and reporting of project work progress.
• Identify and communicate potential risks and challenges throughout the project lifecycle.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and report any incidents or near-miss events.

Qualifications

• At least a NITEC qualification, with strong skills in AutoCAD software.
• Previous experience with a variety of company products is preferred.
• Understanding of electrical or electronic systems is a plus.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 standards is advantageous.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and PDF management.
