Digital Ops Support Analyst

This position serves as a critical technical resource for supporting data pipelines and flows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gain a comprehensive understanding of current data flows and pipelines.
• Acquire domain knowledge relevant to the datasets.
• Address data gaps or production bugs with detailed analysis for resolution.
• Reprocess the data pipeline or input missing data to rectify identified gaps.
• Implement code modifications necessary to maintain data integrity.
• Verify data accuracy following fixes to ensure it aligns with expectations.
• Collaborate with various departments to determine the appropriate teams for applying fixes.
• Engage with other departments to gain insights into new pipelines or flows.
• Adhere to established business rules governing application or process usage.
• Represent the application or process in interactions with other business areas.
• Solicit feedback from relevant business areas that should contribute to this application or process.
• Assess, understand, and respond to routine issues or situations involving external contacts.
• Operate within the framework of existing business policies and practices or established relationships.
• Identify complex or ambiguous issues and devise optimal solutions from multiple alternatives.

• Proficiency in programming languages including SQL and Python.
• Basic hands-on knowledge of AWS services such as S3, SageMaker, RDS, Kinesis, DynamoDB, and Lambda.
• Basic hands-on familiarity with Snowflake and its functionalities.
• Capacity to comprehend and analyze complete data flow and pipeline processes.
• Understanding of database concepts.

• A college or university degree, technical certification, or equivalent experience is required.
• At least 3 years of experience in data pipeline technologies or data validation processes.
• Strong interpersonal skills for managing sensitive, emotional, or potentially contentious situations.
• Familiarity with comprehensive data management for applications.
