Cloud platform Engineer

We are seeking a skilled professional with hands-on experience in deploying and managing cloud infrastructure, particularly with Kubernetes, Docker, and relational databases—including modeling and performance optimization—as well as private networking. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of deploying, maintaining, monitoring, and securing cloud resources, with a preference for Azure cloud platform expertise. Candidates should possess strong automation skills, familiarity with version control systems, and a solid understanding of DevOps practices, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, utilizing tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub, GitHub Actions, and Terraform. Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) is considered an additional advantage. Proficiency in scripting languages like Bash, PowerShell, and Azure CLI is essential. Bonus points are awarded for experience in software development, especially with Python. A good understanding of Data Engineering principles is required, including data analytics, data processing tools, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load), and ELT (Extract, Load, Transform) methodologies. The ideal candidate will enjoy collaborating on feature development and user stories within a team environment. They should demonstrate transparency in their work through comprehensive documentation and clear communication, whether in meetings, comments, chats, or pull requests.
