Your Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and improve backend applications according to business specifications.
• Oversee and maintain applications in a cloud-native environment utilizing Kubernetes/OpenShift.
• Utilize GitHub for source code management; conduct code reviews to ensure compliance, quality, and security.
• Adhere to Agile methodologies in your work processes.
• Share insights and aid in the technical development and skill enhancement of team members.
• Exhibit strong communication skills while working alongside cross-functional teams.
• Possess the ability to swiftly acquire knowledge in new areas and technologies as dictated by business needs.
  
  

Preferred Education

Master's Degree

Required Technical and Professional Skills

• Extensive experience (5+ years) in Java, Spring Boot, Go, or Python, with proficiency in at least one language and its framework ecosystem.
• Practical experience in developing Spring Boot microservices, REST APIs, and distributed systems.
• Solid understanding of Kubernetes or OpenShift, including experience with Docker/Podman and cloud service providers.
• Good knowledge of Container Networking (CNI) and container-native storage concepts.
• Proficient in version control systems, particularly Git.
• Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, GCP, Azure, or IBM Cloud.
• Familiarity with Ansible and Shell scripting.
• Strong proficiency in Linux system administration.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Capability to design and manage a DevOps application lifecycle.
• Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines, particularly Jenkins and GitHub Actions, with practical experience in writing and debugging Jenkinsfiles.
• Knowledge of Generative AI systems, including:
• LLM inferencing and model serving, including experience with vLLM
• Integrating GenAI/LLM inferencing into backend services and APIs
• Experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Scikit-learn
• Awareness of performance, scalability, GPU utilization, and cost factors for AI workloads in production
  
  

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

• Experience in full stack development using Go or Python is an advantage.
• Advanced skills in Kubernetes/OpenShift and cloud service providers.
• Strong knowledge of Generative AI and inferencing, including:
• Serving LLMs using vLLM in cloud-native settings
• Scaling and managing inference workloads on Kubernetes/OpenShift
• Integrating GenAI capabilities into corporate applications
• Ability to quickly learn new domains and technologies as required by business priorities.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
