Our client is a prominent design-and-build firm with an impressive portfolio encompassing industrial, commercial, and large-scale construction projects. They are seeking skilled Structural Engineers to become part of their project team, collaborating closely with consultants, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams throughout the entire project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage structural design and engineering tasks for building projects.
• Evaluate structural drawings, calculations, specifications, and technical submissions.
• Collaborate with Structural Consultants, Architects, M&E Consultants, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Assess structural proposals, shop drawings, method statements, and material submissions.
• Deliver technical assistance for RC, steel structures, foundations, slabs, beams, and columns.
• Perform site inspections and address structural design and construction challenges.
• Integrate structural works with architectural, civil, and M&E disciplines.
• Communicate with consultants and authorities regarding design submissions and technical issues.
• Review RFIs, design modifications, site discrepancies, and as-built documentation.
• Assist the Project Manager in meeting project timelines, quality standards, and budget goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil / Structural Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in structural design, building construction, or design-and-build projects.
• Experience with industrial, commercial, warehouse, or large-scale construction projects is a plus.
• In-depth knowledge of RC and steel structures, structural design, and detailing.
• Familiarity with Singapore's codes and statutory requirements.
• Proficient in AutoCAD; experience with ETABS, SAP2000, or SAFE is advantageous.
• Excellent technical, communication, and coordination abilities.

• Location: North West
• Working hours: 5.5 Days
• Salary: up to S$6,000, AWS and VB (Salary will be commensurate with experience & qualifications)
