Functional Business Analyst

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery efforts to evaluate business requirements, current capabilities, gaps, constraints, and dependencies.
• Convert business requirements into detailed specifications, user stories, process designs, and functional documentation.
• Outline capability scope, customer/user journeys, and map capabilities to features and epics.
• Facilitate collaboration on requirements and solution design among business, design, technology, operations, and testing teams.
• Question assumptions, differentiate between needs and wants, and foster consensus on scope and solution outcomes.
• Develop the solution plan along with necessary documentation and supporting artifacts.
• Oversee requirements management, scope, risks, changes, dependencies, and maintain end-to-end traceability.
• Evaluate operational impacts and assist in ensuring readiness for implementation.
• Aid in the preparation for SIT/UAT, validate test cases, manage defect triage, and clarify requirements.
