Assistant Project Manager (Industrial Building)

Our client is a leading A1 Main Contractor specializing in Civil and Infrastructure projects. With a growing portfolio of projects both locally and internationally, they are looking for skilled and dedicated professionals to enhance their local team.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, schedule, and implement projects to achieve deadlines, budget constraints, and client satisfaction.
• Track progress, pinpoint critical tasks, and ensure efficient site operations.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners, including consultants and subcontractors, for effective project delivery.
• Guarantee project completion on schedule, within designated scope, and budget parameters.
• Ensure all work complies with approved plans, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage resource availability and distribution effectively.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project plans.
• Address changes in project scope, timelines, and costs with proper verification processes.
• Conduct risk management assessments to mitigate project-related risks.
• Evaluate performance using appropriate metrics and techniques.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Supervise construction site issues, including safety and compliance matters.
• Communicate and escalate issues to management when necessary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Degree in Engineering or related Building disciplines
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar role
• Strong understanding of the approval processes of relevant government agencies
• Thorough knowledge of the Building Control Acts and associated legislation (including applicable statutory codes and regulations)
• Comprehensive knowledge in Civil & Structural, Mechanical & Electrical, and Architectural works
• Proficient in project management software and tools

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

• Location: Varies based on project
• Working days: 5.5 Days
• Salary: Up to S$7,000 / Negotiable + AWS + VB (salary commensurate with experience and qualifications).
