Business Analyst

Position Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Business Analyst capable of connecting business requirements, operational workflows, and digital innovation initiatives. This role extends beyond conventional requirements collection, involving close collaboration with stakeholders to critically analyze current processes, uncover improvement opportunities, and conceptualize more efficient service delivery models.

The successful candidate should be adept at managing ambiguity, constructively challenging existing practices, and translating complex business issues into practical, user-focused solutions.

Primary Responsibilities

• Business Analysis & Discovery: Collaborate with stakeholders to gain a comprehensive understanding of business processes, operational hurdles, and user needs, digging deeper than surface requirements to identify root causes.
• Business Process Optimization: Examine current workflows to spot inefficiencies and explore opportunities for streamlining, standardizing, automating, or fundamentally redesigning processes.
• Solution Development & Product Thinking: Convert business requirements into well-defined problem statements, user journeys, functional specifications, and user stories, while considering reuse and integration possibilities.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Lead workshops and facilitate discussions with business users, operational staff, and technical teams to challenge assumptions, align on priorities, and foster impactful changes.
• Change Management & Implementation: Assist in validating solutions, overseeing user acceptance testing, assessing change impacts, and supporting the adoption of redesigned processes.
• Ongoing Improvement: Continuously propose enhancements based on user feedback, operational insights, and emerging technologies to ensure solutions achieve measurable business results.

Candidate Requirements

• Experience in business analysis, process improvement, digital transformation, product management, or related fields.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of dissecting complex business challenges and recommending practical solutions.
• Proficiency in facilitating stakeholder discussions, challenging assumptions, and influencing decision-making constructively.
• Experience with process mapping, requirements gathering, user journey analysis, and translating business needs into actionable deliverables.
• Comfort working collaboratively across business and technology teams, with familiarity in Agile methodologies.
• Self-motivated, flexible, and comfortable operating in environments characterized by ambiguity or change.
