AWS Engineer

We are seeking a skilled professional with extensive hands-on experience in Terraform and CloudFormation (minimum of 3 years) alongside Infrastructure as Code (IaC) expertise and Python development skills. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in AWS cloud services, including EC2, IAM, CloudWatch, Quicksight, RDS, and AWS Operations.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in Cloud-based DevOps practices, with significant hands-on engagement with Terraform and CloudFormation.

• Over 5 years of practical experience in AWS and familiarity with DevOps methodologies.

• Proven ability to showcase automation experience utilizing DevOps pipeline tools.

• Proficiency with developer tools such as Git, SVN, and Maven.

• Solid understanding of UNIX/Linux environments.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Experience managing deployments across multiple AWS accounts.

  A strong understanding of FinOps principles and the capacity to identify cost-saving opportunities within AWS workloads.

• Commitment to supporting quality development practices and exploring innovative methods to enhance the building and deployment of services/accounts.

• Capability to plan and collaborate with application teams in adopting DevSecOps, cloud strategies, and automation transformations while optimizing continuous deployment and delivery processes.

• Development of cutting-edge solutions to address challenges utilizing appropriate technologies.

• Experience in creating and implementing automation for various types of testing, CI/CD pipelines, and software deployments.

• Familiarity with scripting languages, configuration management, pipeline code, pipeline patterns, and continuous integration tools.

• Aptitude for designing and constructing solutions to tackle technical challenges, ensuring craftsmanship, resilience, and scalability while continually enhancing DevOps engineering practices.
