Autonomous Robotics Engineer

Job Overview:

• The role of the Autonomous Robotics Engineer entails the development, testing, integration, and deployment of autonomous robotic solutions tailored for various applications, including industrial inspection, construction site monitoring, inventory management, confined space inspection, safety compliance, and intelligent automation.
• This position requires expertise in autonomous navigation technologies, robotics middleware, sensor integration, perception systems, mission planning, and robot control software.
• The engineer will work in close collaboration with robotics architects, AI engineers, computer vision experts, and business stakeholders to create reliable, scalable, and safe autonomous robotic solutions.
• This position offers a chance to engage with cutting-edge robotics technologies such as robotic dogs, Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs), edge computing, sensor fusion, and advanced autonomous navigation systems.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Design and develop autonomous robotic applications leveraging ROS and ROS2 frameworks.
• Integrate robotic systems with various sensors including LiDAR, cameras, IMU, GPS, and other industrial devices.
• Assist in the development of capabilities related to localization, mapping, navigation, and path planning.
• Implement algorithms for obstacle detection and avoidance to support autonomous operations.
• Configure and create workflows for robot mission planning and task execution.
• Work alongside AI and Computer Vision teams to incorporate perception intelligence into robotic systems.
• Conduct integration and validation of autonomous navigation systems both in simulated and real-world scenarios.
• Support the development of robot fleet management and monitoring functionalities.
• Create interfaces for effective communication between robots, edge devices, cloud platforms, and enterprise applications.
• Perform testing, troubleshooting, debugging, and optimization of system performance.
• Produce technical documentation, deployment guides, and test reports.
• Engage in field trials, user acceptance testing, and the rollout of production systems.
• Contribute to the development of reusable robotics component libraries and frameworks.
• Support initiatives for continuous improvement, innovation programs, and proof of concepts.
• Ensure adherence to safety, cybersecurity, and engineering quality standards.

Technical Qualifications:

• Contribute to the creation and deployment of autonomous robotics solutions across various modules.
• Support the execution of robotic inspection, monitoring, and automation applications.
• Engage in simulation testing and validation processes.
