Position Overview

Automation Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and execute automated testing scripts for web applications, APIs, and comprehensive workflows.

Design and improve automation frameworks utilizing Java, Selenium WebDriver, and associated technologies.

Conduct database validation, data verification, and backend testing through SQL.

Utilize GenAI tools and methodologies to enhance test case generation, script development, test data creation, defect analysis, and overall automation efficiency.

Work collaboratively with development and QA teams to enhance test coverage and promote quality through ongoing automation efforts.

Essential Skills

Proven experience with Java and Selenium WebDriver.

Practical experience in developing automation frameworks.

Robust SQL skills for database validation and backend testing.

Experience with API testing.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Desirable Skills

Familiarity with GenAI tools in the context of testing and quality engineering.

Experience in the banking sector.

Experience in Agile environments and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
