Our client is a reputable A1 Main Contractor renowned for its success in executing significant building and infrastructure projects across Singapore. With ongoing project expansion, they are seeking a Deputy Contract Manager to strengthen their commercial team.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Contracts Manager with overseeing tender and post-contract processes from the tender phase to project completion.
• Analyze tender documents, develop commercial submissions, conduct cost analysis, and engage in tender negotiations.
• Oversee daily contractual and commercial issues related to the project.
• Manage variations, claims, EOT submissions, contractual correspondence, and cost control.
• Oversee subcontract procurement, administration, claims, variations, and final accounts.
• Track project costs, budgets, cash flow, and overall commercial performance.
• Identify contractual risks and offer effective mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and project teams on commercial issues.
• Assist in resolving contractual disputes and issues.
• Ensure accurate maintenance of contract documentation, reports, and commercial records.

Candidate Requirements

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 10-15 years of relevant experience in contracts and commercial management.
• Extensive experience in tendering and post-contract administration.
• Demonstrated expertise in claims, EOT, variations, subcontract management, and final accounts.
• Experience in MRT, LTA, or large-scale civil/infrastructure projects is highly preferable.
• Strong commercial acumen, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively with project teams.

• Location: East (transport provided)
• Working hours: 5 Days
• Salary: up to S$9,500 plus Bonus (Salary commensurate with experience & qualifications)
