Technical Architect, M365 Suite

We are looking for a trusted advisor with extensive knowledge of Microsoft 365 and SharePoint, capable of engaging with business stakeholders, leading solution discussions, and guiding organizations through their Microsoft 365 transformation journey. This role will also involve supporting the early phases of Microsoft Copilot conversations and planning for adoption.

Avanade is in search of a seasoned Microsoft 365 and AI Business Solutions expert with substantial experience in SharePoint and the broader Microsoft 365 ecosystem. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional consulting and solutioning abilities, helping organizations optimize their digital workplace investments while facilitating initial discussions on Microsoft Copilot adoption and readiness.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead client initiatives centered on Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, and digital workplace transformation efforts.
• Evaluate business needs and convert them into scalable Microsoft-based solutions.
• Design and implement solutions utilizing SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, Outlook, and other Microsoft 365 services.
• Conduct workshops, discovery sessions, and discussions with stakeholders to uncover opportunities for enhancing productivity and collaboration.
• Provide advisory support and initial solution guidance regarding Microsoft Copilot readiness, governance, adoption, and potential use cases.
• Collaborate with both business and technical stakeholders to create roadmaps for Microsoft 365 modernization and AI-driven workplace transformation.
• Support best practices in governance, security, compliance, and information architecture within Microsoft 365 environments.
• Deliver solution demonstrations, proof of concepts, and presentations to clients.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to the development of capabilities within the practice.

Required Qualifications

• 10-15 years of overall experience in IT consulting and solution delivery.
• Strong proficiency in SharePoint Online and the Microsoft 365 suite.
• Practical experience with Microsoft 365 services, including:
• SharePoint Online
• M365 Copilot & Copilot Studio
• OneDrive
• Outlook
• Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Experience in facilitating workshops with both business and technical senior stakeholders.
• Comprehensive understanding of Microsoft 365 governance, security, compliance, and collaboration frameworks.
• Capability to assist in initial Microsoft Copilot discussions, encompassing readiness assessments, business value conversations, and adoption planning.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and consulting skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft 365 migration, modernization, or digital workplace transformation initiatives.
• Knowledge of Power Platform capabilities, including Power Automate and Power Apps.
• Microsoft certifications related to Microsoft 365, SharePoint, or similar technologies.
• Experience in global delivery and consulting settings.
