SRE Lead

We are seeking a Site Reliability Engineer with a proven ability to excel in three key areas: identifying the true root cause of production failures and resolving them, even when the alert itself is the issue; developing automation to prevent similar failures from requiring human intervention; and managing projects from inception to completion, which includes integrating a service with our release tooling, establishing new tenant queues, and promoting a defined set of SLOs from planning to production.

Our team is inherently proactive. We prioritize the release process and tooling as essential components in averting outages before they occur. This is not a reactive operations position; it is designed for someone who views every incident as an opportunity to create lasting automation solutions.

7-9 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or roles focused on infrastructure/production engineering

A solid history of driving production challenges to their genuine root causes, rather than merely addressing surface-level symptoms

Proven capability in developing automation (scripts, tools, services) that effectively removes a category of manual or repetitive tasks

Demonstrable experience managing technical projects independently, from initial scoping through to production deployment

Strong proficiency in Python: adept at creating and maintaining automation, tools, and scripts utilized by other engineering teams

Advanced skills in analyzing and correlating logs, metrics, and traces to troubleshoot issues across various interdependent systems

Extensive background in release engineering, deployment tooling, or CI/CD pipeline practices

Exceptional written communication skills: capable of producing clear incident reports, project scope documents, and technical updates that guide cross-team direction

Experience in mentoring fellow engineers and leading significant technical initiatives.
