Job Overview

We are seeking a Network Security Engineer with strong hands-on experience in both Enterprise Networking and Network Security Operations. The successful candidate will be proficient in routing, switching, firewall technologies, VPNs, and will be able to troubleshoot advanced network security challenges in enterprise environments.

Mandatory Skills
Enterprise Networking (Critical)

• Routing: BGP, OSPF, EIGRP


• Switching: VLAN, STP, Trunking, Port Security


• Protocols: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NAT


• LAN/WAN/WLAN and SD-WAN environments


• Traffic flow analysis and packet-level troubleshooting

Network Security

• Firewalls: Cisco ASA, Firepower (FTD/FMC), Fortinet, Palo Alto


• Security Policies, ACLs, NAT, Network Segmentation


• IDS/IPS Management


• Firewall Rule Analysis, Optimization, and Cleanup

VPN & Secure Access

• IPSec Site-to-Site VPN


• Remote Access VPN


• SSL VPN

Troubleshooting (Must Have)

• End-to-End Packet Flow Analysis


• Network and Firewall Issue Correlation


• Log Analysis and Root Cause Analysis (RCA)

Additional Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize firewall and network infrastructure


• Configure and troubleshoot secure connectivity across branches, data centers, cloud, and remote users


• Vulnerability Assessment and Risk Remediation


• Zero Trust Technologies (ZTNA, ZIA, ZPA)


• Monitoring Tools: SolarWinds, ThousandEyes, Splunk


• Network/Firewall Upgrades and Migrations


• ITIL-based Change Management using ServiceNow


• Documentation of network diagrams, policies, and configurations
