Job Summary

Act as a specialist in product information management and master data management, with responsibility for order management and trading, ensuring precise and reliable data flow across retail and order channels. This role operates in a hybrid night shift environment. Work closely with cross-functional teams to uphold high data quality standards, streamline order processing, and assist trading operations to support strong overall business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end product information and master data processes for order management systems, ensuring correct item setup, pricing, availability, and trading attributes across all connected platforms and channels.
• Partner directly with order management teams to verify data entries, track order lifecycle milestones, and address data-related exceptions that may affect order fulfillment timelines and the customer experience.
• Enhance trading data, including product classifications, trading rules, and transactional attributes, to improve processing efficiency for retail orders and to support clear reporting of trading performance.
• Review and oversee nightly batch executions, interfaces, and data loads within the order management and MDM landscape to detect irregularities early and start corrective actions that prevent downstream operational disruptions.
• Collaborate with retail order management stakeholders to assess data dependencies for promotions, inventory allocation, and channel routing, then convert these requirements into well-defined MDM configurations.
• Keep detailed documentation for product and master data models, business rules, and configurations to ensure stakeholders understand data flows and dependencies across order and trading systems.
• Conduct ongoing data quality assessments for critical master data entities, including customer, product, and price records, and implement remediation plans that strengthen accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
• Coordinate with technology teams to define and execute test scenarios for new features or data changes in order management solutions, ensuring that product information and MDM rules work as intended during night shift operations.
• Assist with incident resolution by investigating data inconsistencies in orders, invoices, and trading reports, delivering detailed root cause analyses, and recommending sustainable remediation.
• Drive continuous improvement by spotting shortcomings in product information and MDM workflows and proposing realistic enhancements that reduce manual workload and minimize error rates.
• Consult with business users across retail and order operations to collect feedback on data usability and apply those insights to strengthen data standards and governance practices.
• Maintain compliance with internal data governance policies by enforcing standardized attribute naming conventions and validation rules across all order management and trading data sets.
• Support company priorities by ensuring that clean, dependable master data enables efficient order processing, informs trading decisions, and contributes to improved service results for customers and communities.

Qualifications

• Have at least two years of hands-on experience with order management solutions and trading-related processes, including practical exposure to key workflows such as order creation, fulfillment, and status tracking.
• Demonstrate strong analytical capability when assessing large volumes of order and product data, using findings to refine MDM rules and improve data integrity across business functions.
• Apply knowledge of retail order management scenarios—including omnichannel orders, returns, and exchanges—to design data structures that accurately reflect real-world retail operations.
• Be familiar with master data management concepts such as golden records, data stewardship, and standardized attributes, and be able to explain how these concepts enable consistent trading and reporting.
• Use experience with hybrid working models and night shift operations to coordinate with distributed teams and maintain clear communication on urgent data and order issues.
• Show strong communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional partners, including technology operations and business stakeholders, to translate requirements into actionable data solutions.
• Demonstrate adaptability in learning new order management tools and MDM platforms, and apply best practices from retail and trading domains to improve the resilience of data processes.
