Software Engineer (Fullstack- Java)

• Partner with Business Analysts, Product Owners, QA teams, and other stakeholders to capture and clarify business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories.
• Create, build, evaluate, troubleshoot, and maintain high-performance software solutions using Java and established engineering best practices.
• Produce clean, scalable, reusable, and maintainable code in alignment with coding standards and secure software development guidelines.
• Engage in architecture planning, technical design reviews, and sprint planning sessions.
• Develop and run unit tests, and assist with integration and system testing activities to maintain software quality and reliability.
• Investigate production defects, conduct root cause analysis, and deliver timely, effective resolutions.
• Participate in code reviews, pair programming/peer collaboration, and ongoing team knowledge-sharing.
• Create, update, and maintain technical documentation covering design specs, implementation details, and deployment procedures.
• Contribute to Agile/Scrum delivery by working within cross-functional teams to ship features on committed timelines with expected quality.
• Own assigned modules/features and drive continuous improvements across performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Support Proof of Concepts (POCs), technical spikes, and innovation initiatives to assess new technologies and frameworks.
• Assist with CI/CD, build automation, and DevOps-related responsibilities throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Recognize opportunities for product enhancements and proactively propose technical improvements.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2–4 years of professional software development experience in enterprise or product-based environments.
• Strong proficiency in Java with experience building production-grade applications.
• Solid understanding of:
• Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
• Data Structures & Algorithms
• Multithreading and Concurrency
• Memory Management and Performance Optimization
• Design Patterns and Software Engineering Principles
• Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio and Azure DevOps.
• Experience working with source control systems such as TFS/Git.
• Familiarity with debugging tools, profiling tools, and unit testing frameworks.
• Understanding of REST APIs, integration concepts, and distributed application architecture is a plus.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams.
