Responsibilities

• Architect comprehensive enterprise solutions for contract authoring and sale buy processes, ensuring seamless integration of contract and agreement workflows with iCertis platforms to deliver reliable, scalable capabilities that support global business operations.
• Create high level and detailed solution designs to optimize contract lifecycle management, covering authoring, negotiation, approval, and archiving, while maintaining strong alignment with compliance and risk management objectives.
• Partner with product owners, business stakeholders, and implementation teams to define clear functional and nonfunctional requirements for contract systems, ensuring architectural decisions reflect strategic priorities and operational constraints.
• Lead technical teams in implementing iCertis based solutions by delivering clear architectural blueprints, patterns, and standards that promote reuse, robustness, and ease of maintenance in hybrid work settings.
• Assess existing contract management landscapes to identify gaps and inefficiencies, then recommend architectural improvements and modernization strategies that increase automation, traceability, and user satisfaction.
• Own integration architectures between iCertis contract platforms and surrounding enterprise systems, including customer relationship platforms, resource planning tools, and document repositories, to ensure consistent data flow and accurate reporting.
• Set governance for contract related solution design, including reference architectures, coding guidelines, performance benchmarks, and quality checks, to uphold high standards across day shift delivery teams.
• Perform architectural reviews and risk assessments for new contract features and enhancements, focusing on scalability, security, data privacy, and regulatory requirements to protect organizational assets and maintain stakeholder trust.
• Mentor senior engineers and solution designers on advanced architecture practices for contract authoring and agreement management, encouraging knowledge sharing and continuous improvement within hybrid collaboration environments.
• Collaborate with operations and support teams to design resilient architectures for monitoring, incident response, and performance tuning of contract solutions to ensure high availability and predictable service levels.
• Investigate emerging technologies and advanced analytics that can strengthen contract authoring processes and agreement insights, including opportunities related to cheminformatics and bioinformatics domains where applicable.
• Produce and maintain documentation of architecture decisions, implementation guidelines, and best practices in clear, accessible formats so cross functional teams can consistently deliver contract solutions aligned with enterprise standards.
• Engage with business leaders to translate long term contract management strategies into actionable architectural roadmaps, demonstrating how proposed solutions improve efficiency, compliance, and societal trust in fair, transparent agreements.

Qualifications

• Possess extensive experience as an architect working on contract authoring sale buy solutions, with deep exposure to contracts and agreements workflows and strong proficiency in designing platforms around iCertis technology.
• Demonstrate strong skills in enterprise architecture methods, including component design, integration patterns, security design, and performance optimization, specifically applied to contract lifecycle management systems.
• Bring hands on experience implementing or overseeing iCertis based solutions, with a clear track record of delivering stable, scalable, and configurable contract platforms in complex organizational environments.
• Show capability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including business analysts, legal specialists, and engineering staff, ensuring solution designs for contracts accurately reflect business rules and regulatory obligations.
• Display solid understanding of data modeling and information architecture for contract repositories, including clauses, counterparties, obligations, and metadata to enable robust search, analytics, and reporting capabilities.
• Offer domain familiarity in cheminformatics or bioinformatics as a nice to have skill enabling better architectural alignment when contract solutions support research innovation or life sciences related operations.
• Demonstrate proficiency in hybrid work practices, including remote collaboration, documentation discipline, and use of shared tools to keep architecture communication clear and consistent across distributed day shift teams.
• Exhibit strong problem solving abilities and a structured approach to evaluating trade offs among architectural options, ensuring that contract solutions balance cost, resilience, flexibility, and business value.
