Technology analyst

Primary Duties:

• Design, develop, and sustain scalable search solutions utilizing Elasticsearch
• Establish and enhance search index mappings, analyzers, and queries
• Create advanced search functionalities such as full-text search, faceted search, autocomplete, filtering, and ranking
• Set up and oversee Elasticsearch clusters to ensure high availability and optimal performance
• Develop data ingestion pipelines using Logstash, Beats, Kafka, or custom solutions
• Integrate Elasticsearch with corporate applications via REST APIs and microservices
• Monitor cluster health, performance metrics, and resource utilization
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to indexing, query performance, and clusters
• Create dashboards and analytics solutions using Kibana
• Implement security measures, role-based access, and compliance controls
• Collaborate effectively with application, data engineering, DevOps, and business teams

Technical Qualifications:

• Expertise in Enterprise Search technology, specifically Elasticsearch

Additional Duties:

• Familiarity with design principles and architectural fundamentals
• Understanding of performance engineering concepts
• Knowledge of quality processes and estimation techniques
• Basic comprehension of project domains
• Ability to translate functional and non-functional requirements into system specifications
• Capability to design and code complex software programs
• Skill in writing test cases and scenarios based on provided specifications
• Strong grasp of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies
• Awareness of emerging technologies and industry trends
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities with a collaborative mindset
