Senior Systems Engineer Linux & Windows

Role:

• We are seeking a hands-on Systems Engineer to support an acquisition-integration initiative. You will evaluate current environments, resolve technical issues, and convert identified gaps into actionable delivery plans.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot advanced Linux and Windows issues using command-line tools, log review, and configuration analysis.
• Evaluate infrastructure against technical requirements, capture and document gaps, and propose solutions.
• Assist with integration and remediation efforts across systems, applications, and cloud environments.
• Investigate operational issues related to DNS, proxy, WAF, SSL/TLS certificates, and SMTP.
• Collaborate with technical teams and project managers, delivering clear status updates on activities, dependencies, and blockers.

Required Skills:

• Extensive enterprise systems engineering experience, preferably approximately 10 years, with proven L3 troubleshooting capability.
• Strong, hands-on Linux and Windows administration experience.
• Highly analytical problem-solving skills: diagnose the issue, explain the root cause, and provide a functional solution.
• Experience implementing infrastructure changes, confirming results, and documenting recovery plans.
• Strong communication skills and clear ownership of technical actions through to completion.
