1. This role is designed for research-driven leadership, ideal for candidates with an analytical or research-oriented background who are keen to perform deep-dive research and create structured data definitions for business-focused use cases.
2. You must be able to understand fast-evolving, complex sectors and translate them into clear, accurate definitions, while mentoring junior analysts and building sector-level frameworks.

In this Research Associate position, you will lead in-depth research across global technology sectors, monitor and track emerging companies, and develop frameworks that scale intelligence across the platform. Key Responsibilities:

• Partner directly with clients to interpret complex briefs, agree on output parameters, and deliver high-confidence intelligence that satisfies defined expectations, even with fast turnarounds.
• Perform deep-dive research and build a robust knowledge base across multiple sectors (e.g., SaaS, FinTech, HealthTech, Enterprise Applications, ClimateTech).
• Handle urgent requests and escalations effectively by diagnosing root causes, resolving issues in real time, and re-establishing client trust.
• Create structured frameworks and data definitions for complex business scenarios.
• Discover, assess, and categorize high-potential startups and emerging trends worldwide.
• Develop detailed sector landscapes, research notes, and strategic insights.
• Mentor and review junior analysts’ work to maintain quality and consistency.
• Support scoring models and tagging frameworks to enable scalable sector intelligence

What We're Looking For:

• 5–8 years of experience in research, consulting, VC/PE, strategy, or analytics.
• Willingness to work in US Timezone (3 PM -12 AM IST)
• Proven ability to look beyond raw data to uncover “non-obvious” trends
• Strong functional or sector expertise, with a genuine interest in startups and emerging technologies.
• Experience in secondary research and report generation preferred.
• Strong analytical skills, along with excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to develop frameworks, mentor teams, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
