Power BI+ Dax Consultant

Job Description:

• We are seeking a skilled Power BI Developer
• In this pivotal role within our Business Intelligence team, you will be tasked with designing, developing, and maintaining Power BI reports and dashboards
• Your contributions will be essential in converting intricate data into actionable insights that facilitate informed business decisions

Key Responsibilities:

• A typical day for an Infoscion
• As a member of the Infosys consulting team, your main responsibility will be to spearhead the engagement effort by delivering high-quality, value-added consulting solutions to clients at various stages, from problem identification to diagnosis, solution design, development, and deployment
• You will evaluate proposals prepared by consultants, offer guidance, and assess the solutions crafted for client business challenges to pinpoint potential risks and issues
• Your role will include identifying change management needs and proposing a structured strategy to the client for managing change through various communication methods
• Additionally, you will mentor and create a vision for the team, provide subject matter training in your areas of expertise, and motivate and inspire team members through timely feedback and recognition for outstanding performance
• You will play a vital role in unit-level and organizational initiatives aimed at delivering high-quality, value-added consulting solutions to clients while adhering to the organization's guidelines and processes

Technical Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in business intelligence or data analysis
• Advanced proficiency in Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service
• A comprehensive understanding of data modeling concepts, DAX, and measures
• Strong SQL capabilities along with experience in query modes and live connections
• Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing intricate data visualizations
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in leading and mentoring BI teams
• Core skills: Technology Business Intelligence Visualization MSBI Power BI

Additional Responsibilities:

• Solid understanding of software configuration management systems
• Strong business acumen, strategy, and cross-industry thought leadership
• Familiarity with the latest technologies and industry trends
• Logical thinking and problem-solving capabilities coupled with the ability to collaborate
• Knowledge of two or three industry domains
• Understanding of financial processes for various project types and available pricing models
• Client interfacing skills

• Understanding of data warehousing principles
