Senior Quantity Surveyor

Our client is an established A1 main contractor in Singapore with proven experience delivering major building and infrastructure projects. With ongoing expansion driven by continued project growth, they are strengthening their commercial team and inviting experienced Quantity Surveyors to support tendering and end-to-end project commercial management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee pre-contract and post-contract quantity surveying and commercial activities.
• Produce tender documents, Bills of Quantities, cost estimates and tender evaluations.
• Drive subcontractor procurement, support tender negotiations and manage contract administration.
• Handle progress claims, variation orders, payments, final accounts and contractual claims.
• Track project costs, budgets and commercial performance.
• Evaluate EOT and loss & expense claims, and flag potential contractual risks.
• Prepare cost reports and commercial updates for management.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers on contractual matters.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction Management or a related discipline.
• Relevant experience in building, civil or infrastructure construction.
• Strong understanding of tendering, cost control, contract administration and subcontract management.
• Experience managing variations, progress claims, final accounts and contractual claims.
• Knowledge of Singapore construction contracts and commercial practices.
• Proven negotiation, analytical and stakeholder management skills.

• Location: Depending on project (HQ / South / North)
• Working hours: 5 Days
• Salary: up to S$7,000 and Bonus (Salary will commensurate according to experience & qualifications)
