Job Description
- Reporting directly to the QA Manager
- Evaluate and propose enhancements to the efficiency and effectiveness of Quality Control (QC) procedures.
- Manage QA product and process health indicators along with DPPM reports, and analyze QA/testing and process failures to initiate systematic corrective actions.
- Participate in cross-functional teams focused on improving product quality and reliability for both startup and sustaining initiatives.
- Oversee defect verification, lot disposition, shipment blocking/approval, and the generation and closure of ICARs.
- Accountable for technical evaluations, New Product Introduction (NPI) support, executing and monitoring corrective actions, as well as generating reports.
- Collaborate closely with the NPI Team to coordinate the transition of products to mass production.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives by identifying testing and process issues that contribute to quality problems, determining root causes, and implementing solutions.
- Analyze and address all customer-reported issues, ensuring the implementation of containment measures and corrective actions.
- Follow up on specific issues as directed by the Quality Manager.
