IT Security Engineer / Senior IT Security Engineer

We are looking for a seasoned IT Security Engineer to oversee security operations, enhance IT security measures, and ensure compliance across organizational systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts, analyze threats, and manage incidents from detection to resolution.
• Coordinate vulnerability assessments and penetration testing, ensuring prompt remediation efforts.
• Configure, deploy, and maintain security solutions such as SIEM, EDR/XDR, PAM, and WAF tools.
• Implement system hardening techniques and review access permissions across networks, servers, endpoints, and cloud platforms.
• Develop and uphold security policies, support audits and risk evaluations, and oversee security vendors.
• Conduct security training sessions for staff and prepare comprehensive security reports.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of proven experience in IT security roles.
• Practical experience with security tools, incident response procedures, and vulnerability management processes.
• Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, access controls, and system hardening techniques.
• Knowledge of security standards such as ISO 27001, NIST CSF, and CIS benchmarks.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
• Experience with cloud security and certifications like CISSP, CISM, or CISA are considered a plus.
