Senior Executive / Assistant Manager, Procurement

Overview

• Oversee comprehensive procurement processes, encompassing sourcing, evaluation, negotiation, contracting, and vendor performance oversight. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the complete procurement lifecycle in accordance with established governance frameworks, workflows, and approval protocols. Spearhead supplier sourcing and evaluation based on specified requests and defined criteria. Manage vendor relations, including onboarding assessments, qualification verifications, and performance evaluations for both new and existing suppliers. Facilitate purchasing processes from inception to contract award, which includes tendering/advertising assistance, commercial assessments, negotiations, and contract drafting. Conduct thorough commercial bid assessments and negotiate terms with suppliers using established evaluation frameworks and criteria. Oversee procurement risk assessments and assist in audit preparations and documentation. Manage and support service level agreements as well as terms and consultation contracts (e.g., facilities, equipment leasing, logistics). Design and execute centralization and bulk procurement strategies to enhance cost-effectiveness and resource optimization.

Qualifications

• Possession of a Diploma or Degree in a relevant field. A minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement, specifically in vendor and contract management. Proven experience in commercial evaluation, negotiation, and contract award processes. Familiarity with procurement governance, risk management, and audit requirements. Knowledge of ERP systems and standard productivity tools for procurement documentation and reporting (experience with ERP systems is preferred).
