Position Overview

• Position: SAP QM Functional Senior Consultant (Mandarin Speaker)
• Client: Specific client information will be provided during the interview process
• Employment Type: Permanent
• Location: Plaza 33, Selangor & Client Office
• Expected Start Date: October / November 2026
• Language Proficiency: Excellent command of Chinese/Mandarin and English, both verbal and written
• Preferred Industry: Experience in the pharmaceuticals sector is beneficial
• Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel as required by project or service needs

Role Summary

In this role, you will have the chance to work autonomously while becoming a subject matter expert within a dynamic and collaborative team. Your involvement and insights during team discussions will be crucial as you contribute to innovative solutions for work-related challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• The Functional Consultant is responsible for ensuring project success
• Specialized knowledge in SAP Quality Management
• Accountable for delivering IT and Business outcomes in projects
• Assists in developing To-Be processes based on user requirements
• Supports scoping phases and creates functional specifications while validating developments
• Configures systems and documents configurations in accordance with project standards
• Identifies and escalates configuration conflicts with various projects within the same SAP environment and other utilized systems/tools
• Aids in the creation of test specifications and the preparation of test data (setting up the testing environment)
• Facilitates data migration and manages cut-over processes
• Provides country/site-specific system expertise as required by the project.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Information Systems, or equivalent professional experience;
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in SAP Quality Management;
• Proficient in both Chinese and English (speaking and writing) with experience in a multinational setting
• Strong understanding of tools, principles, concepts, and techniques related to requirements, data, usability, and process analysis
• In-depth knowledge of Quality Management business processes and an understanding of cross-functional/integration process flows, data, and dependencies
• Thorough comprehension of the architectural framework for the finance domain and connected portfolios/interfaces
• Good understanding of SolMan ALM methodologies
• Ability to influence stakeholders up to director level within business and IT groups
• Strong conceptual skills to understand complex problems/information and simplify them for better comprehension
• Effective communication and business partnering abilities
• Capability to manage ambiguity and conduct rapid prototyping to refine requirements
• Experience working in an agile environment, often managing multiple initiatives concurrently
• Willingness to travel as dictated by project/service requirements
• Experience in the pharmaceuticals industry and processes is highly valued
