About the Position

We are looking for a skilled Data Migration Specialist to spearhead and facilitate essential SAP data migration projects, specifically focusing on the SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA transition. You will be instrumental in ensuring the integrity, consistency, and effective execution of data migration across various stakeholders and systems.

Primary Responsibilities

• Assist the NEO local team in managing data cleansing tasks following established methodologies
• Conduct onboarding sessions and workshops to educate teams on data migration strategies and mapping
• Verify data migration outputs to guarantee quality and precision
• Oversee timelines and proactively recognize risks, ensuring seamless delivery of all assigned data elements
• Serve as the initial point of contact for migration discrepancies and data-related concerns
• Provide application owners with insights on data propagation and subsequent impacts
• Coordinate with teams to manage dependencies within a complex framework
• Facilitate post-migration evaluations (REX) and promote continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• A minimum of 3-5 years of practical experience in SAP Data Migration
• Demonstrated experience in SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA migration (highly desirable)
• At least 3 years of ETL experience
• Extensive experience in data mapping and migration systems

Essential Skills & Competencies

• Functional and technical knowledge of data migration objects
• In-depth understanding of SAP systems (experience with EBX is a plus)
• Comprehensive grasp of data quality, ETL processes, reconciliation, and validation
• Ability to collaborate closely with local teams to customize migration methodologies
• Strong stakeholder management skills across technical and business teams
• Capacity to navigate cross-functional dependencies in a multi-stakeholder setting
• Holistic understanding of data quality's impact on migration efforts
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities with a pragmatic, results-oriented approach
