SAP GTS CONSULTANT

Key Responsibilities:

• A typical day as an Infoscion
• In your role within the Infosys consulting team, you will delve into customer challenges, identify problem areas, design creative solutions, and support implementation efforts, ultimately enhancing client satisfaction.
• You will take ownership of sections of the proposal document, contributing insights and expertise to the solution design process.
• Your responsibilities will include planning configuration activities, tailoring the product according to design specifications, conducting conference room pilots, and assisting in addressing any inquiries related to requirements and solution design.
• You will showcase product solutions through demonstrations, Proof of Concept (POC) workshops, and generate effort estimates that align with client budgets while adhering to the organization’s financial standards.
• Lead smaller projects proactively and engage in both unit-level and organizational initiatives aimed at delivering high-quality, value-added solutions to clients.

Technical Requirements:

• 1 to 5 years of experience with SAP GTS, including full life cycle implementations, with a preference for multi-country rollouts.
• 2 Proficient in managing and ensuring the seamless operation of SAP foreign trade processes across R/3, S/4HANA, and GTS.
• 3 Skilled in analyzing and optimizing processes related to export control, customs handling, goods origin, and preference processing.
• 4 Capable of implementing solutions for customs, export control, sanctions list screening, and associated compliance areas.
• 5 Experienced in customizing and preparing detailed functional specifications (RICEFW).
• 6 Support the migration process to SAP GTS Edition for HANA.
• 7 Design and manage interfaces with third-party applications.
• 8 Strong communication, problem-solving, collaboration, and influencing skills, complemented by an innovative mindset.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Solid understanding of software configuration management systems.
• Strong business acumen, strategic insight, and cross-industry thought leadership.
• Awareness of emerging technologies and industry trends.
• Logical thinking and problem-solving abilities, along with strong collaborative skills.
• Knowledge of two or three industry domains.
• Understanding of financial processes for various project types and available pricing models.
• Client interfacing capabilities.
• Familiarity with SDLC and agile methodologies.
• Project and team management experience.
