SAP FICO Consultant

Key Responsibilities:

• An overview of a typical day for an Infoscion
• In your role within the Infosys consulting team, you will play a crucial part in assisting the team through various project phases, including problem definition, effort estimation, diagnosis, solution generation, design, and deployment.
• You will investigate alternatives to proposed solutions by conducting research, which may include literature reviews, information from public sources, and vendor evaluations.
• Your responsibilities will also involve developing Proof of Concepts (POCs).
• You will translate business needs into requirement specifications, define future processes, and create detailed functional designs based on those requirements.
• Additionally, you will support the configuration of solution requirements within products, troubleshoot any issues that arise, identify root causes, seek clarifications, and determine potential solution alternatives.
• You will contribute to both unit-level and organizational initiatives aimed at delivering high-quality, value-added solutions to clients.

Technical Requirements:

• At least 2 years of experience in SAP FICO with strong integration capabilities across MM and SD modules.
• Demonstrated expertise in process flows such as Order to Cash, Purchase to Pay, and Availability to Produce.
• Hands-on experience in configuring Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), General Ledger, Asset Accounting, Product Costing, Financial Supply Chain Management (FSCM), and COPA.
• Capability to independently draft Functional Specifications and engage in custom object development and deployment.
• Experience with at least one full SAP implementation project.
• Familiarity with Concur Travel and Expense (T&E) industry-specific solutions and customer-facing roles is highly beneficial.

• Proficiency in collaborating with clients to identify business challenges and contribute to deliverables by refining, analyzing, and structuring relevant data.
• Awareness of current technologies and industry trends.
• Strong logical thinking and problem-solving abilities, combined with a collaborative mindset.
• Capacity to evaluate existing processes, identify areas for improvement, and recommend technology solutions.
• Knowledge of one or two industry domains.
