Job Summary

Lead Administrator responsible for end-to-end administration of SAP S/4HANA landscapes, SAP BTP environments, SAP HANA databases, and NetWeaver ABAP or JAVA systems within a hybrid work model. The role focuses on maintaining high availability, secure operations, and efficient performance for industrial manufacturing and automotive sector clients. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and use English communication skills to deliver consistent operational outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Administer SAP S/4HANA system landscapes through installation planning, configuration, and ongoing maintenance to support stable, efficient execution of business-critical processes.
• Oversee SAP BTP services by tuning performance, managing subaccounts, and coordinating lifecycle operations to enable scalable cloud-native extensions and integrations.
• Manage SAP HANA database administration by performing tenant management and implementing backup and recovery strategies and performance optimization to safeguard data integrity and reduce downtime.
• Configure and maintain SAP NetWeaver ABAP or JAVA application servers by administering instances, transports, and background jobs to ensure dependable application delivery.
• Perform SAP Basis administration activities including client copies, support packages, system copies, kernel updates, and health checks to keep landscapes secure and compliant.
• Coordinate system refreshes and environment alignment by working with functional and development teams to maintain consistency across development, quality, and production systems.
• Implement user and role administration by managing authorizations and security concepts to protect sensitive business data and ensure appropriate access controls.
• Troubleshoot complex technical incidents by reviewing logs, traces, and performance metrics to resolve issues within agreed service levels and prevent repeat failures.
• Plan and support upgrade and migration initiatives by creating detailed runbooks, rehearsing cutover steps, and verifying post-activity checks to ensure smooth transitions.
• Enhance system performance by fine-tuning configuration parameters, managing workload distribution, and analyzing capacity trends to improve response times and resource utilization.
• Partner with industrial manufacturing and automotive customer teams by understanding process requirements and converting them into robust technical configurations and operational practices.
• Document standard operating procedures, configuration baselines, and troubleshooting guides to support consistent operations and effective knowledge sharing across the administration team.
• Communicate effectively in English by delivering status updates, incident reports, and technical explanations to stakeholders in a clear, concise, and understandable manner within the hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• Provide 7 to 9 years of professional experience in SAP S/4HANA administration, including handling complex multi-system landscapes in enterprise environments.
• Demonstrate hands-on SAP BTP administration expertise, including subaccount management, service configuration, and connectivity setup for cloud solutions.
• Show advanced knowledge of SAP HANA database administration, including backup strategies, high availability configurations, and performance troubleshooting for large datasets.
• Exhibit strong skills in SAP NetWeaver ABAP or JAVA administration, including instance management, transport control, and job scheduling activities.
• Highlight broad SAP Basis capabilities such as system copy activities, kernel maintenance, support package implementation, and technical monitoring using standard tools.
• Prefer experience aligned with industrial manufacturing or automotive industry processes to better match system configurations and operations to domain-specific needs.
• Demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a hybrid model by managing tasks independently, coordinating virtually with teams, and maintaining high delivery standards.
• Confirm proficiency in English reading, writing, and speaking to support collaboration with global stakeholders and clear documentation of technical activities.
