SAP APO Consultant

Key Responsibilities:

• Experience a day in the life of an Infoscion
• In your role with the Infosys consulting team, you will primarily lead efforts in delivering high-quality and value-driven consulting solutions to clients, guiding them through phases from problem identification to diagnosis, solution design, development, and implementation.
• You will assess proposals prepared by consultants, offering guidance and evaluating solutions outlined for client business challenges to pinpoint potential risks and issues.
• Your responsibilities will include identifying change management needs and recommending a structured approach to clients for effectively managing change through various communication channels.
• Additionally, you will mentor and establish a vision for the team, providing specialized training in your areas of expertise, while motivating and inspiring team members through constructive feedback and recognition of outstanding performance.
• You will play a vital role in unit-level and organizational initiatives aimed at delivering high-quality, value-added consulting solutions to clients, ensuring compliance with organizational guidelines and processes.

Technical Requirements:

• Based on anticipated workload, DP SNP PP DS GATP SAP recommends sizing according to SAPS with multicore processors and adequate RAM.
• Utilize Quick Sizer for accurate calculations.
• Compatible with Oracle, MS SQL, IBM DB2, and SAP HANA for APO on HANA.
• Ensure the database version is consistent with the SAP APO product version.
• Full functionalities of APO including DP, SNP, PP, DS, and GATP.
• Extensive functional and technical expertise in Demand Planning (DP), Supply Network Planning (SNP), Global Available-to-Promise (GATP), and Production Planning Detailed Scheduling (PPDS).
• Proficient in debugging APO processes, resolving CIF errors, and enhancing system performance.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Strong understanding of software configuration management systems.
• Demonstrated business acumen, strategic insight, and thought leadership across various industries.
• Familiarity with the latest technologies and industry trends.
• Strong logical reasoning and problem-solving abilities, coupled with collaborative skills.
• Knowledge in two or three industry domains.
• Comprehension of financial processes for diverse project types and available pricing models.
