Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning and Coordination:

Design and uphold comprehensive project plans and schedules for the phased implementation of Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA). Collaborate with technical teams to facilitate the establishment of Microsoft Entra ID Conditional Access policies. Strategically plan for various user demographics, including ground staff, cabin crew, pilots, and vendors, ensuring that daily operations experience minimal interruptions. Oversee timelines and resources to guarantee that each phase, as delineated in the project schedule, is executed punctually.

2. Stakeholder Management:

Act as the main liaison for both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication among business units, IT teams, and external vendors. Interact with different user groups to gather specific requirements, such as token-based authentication for MacBook users and contact center agents. Provide consistent updates to senior leadership regarding project status, risks, and interdependencies.

3. Risk and Issue Management:

Proactively identify potential risks, issues, and dependencies at the project's outset. Collaborate closely with teams to mitigate risks and address any challenges that surface during implementation. Continuously assess project performance to ensure compliance with scope, timelines, and budget.

4. Change Management:

Oversee change management initiatives, including user communication, training, and support. Ensure that all users are adequately informed about the MFA transition, particularly concerning mobile authenticator apps, tokens, and biometric login. Formulate contingency plans for identified risks.

5. Compliance and Security Oversight: Guarantee that all activities conform to corporate security policies and standards. Collaborate with the Information Security Team to address any compliance obligations associated with MFA implementation.

6. Vendor and Third-Party Coordination: Manage relationships with vendors providing MFA token solutions for MacBook users and other necessary hardware/software services. Oversee service level agreements (SLAs) with vendors to ensure fulfillment of their commitments. This includes conducting a tender process to secure the most competitive solutions to facilitate MFA implementation.

7. Documentation and Reporting: Ensure precise and comprehensive documentation of project progress, decisions, and deliverables. Regularly report to senior leadership on the status of the MFA rollout, user adoption metrics, and any obstacles encountered.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred.

Experience:

  • Demonstrated experience managing large-scale IT implementation projects, particularly in security or identity management.
  • Understanding of Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure Active Directory), Conditional Access, and MFA technologies.
  • Experience collaborating with diverse user groups, including remote workers, ground staff, and executives.
  • Proficient in vendor management and collaboration with external partners.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Robust project management abilities, with an emphasis on timelines, risk management, and resource allocation.
  • Exceptional communication skills, adept at engaging with both technical teams and non-technical business users.
  • Capability to manage multiple stakeholders while balancing competing priorities.
  • Strong problem-solving aptitude and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, collaboration, and reporting software.
