Production Supervisors

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee adherence to production schedules, enhance HPU, improve cycle times, manage inventory, and foster employee development.
• Assess resource requirements (capacity) to fulfill the production plan.
• Evaluate available resources against requirements.
• Administer the dispatch of work orders in alignment with the build plan.
• Promote superior workmanship and quality enhancements.
• Control and manage direct material consumption.
• Maintain inventory levels as per established targets.
• Address employee attrition and retention challenges.
• Coordinate key employee activities to improve teamwork and the overall working environment.
• Take necessary actions to meet or surpass customer expectations in accordance with the Quality Policy.
• Execute additional tasks as assigned by the immediate supervisor as needed.
• Ensure adherence to Safety, ESD, Cleanroom, and Housekeeping standards.
• Achieve performance metrics including HPU, DPPM, cycle time, job closure, cross-training, scrap/reject rates, and attendance.
• Participate in or receive training on company initiatives, such as Lean Manufacturing.
• Drive continual improvement processes.
• Utilize Risk-Based Thinking in planning and executing tasks.
• Ensure compliance with ISO standards, company policies, regulations, and applicable codes.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Possession of a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Production Management, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a high-volume, high-mix production setting, including at least 3 years in a supervisory role. Candidates lacking specific experience may be considered by the hiring manager based on job requirements, the presence of a mentor, training duration, etc.
• Proficient in using Oracle, ERP, SAP, or MRP systems.
• Experience in lean manufacturing and quality improvement initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of computer software, particularly Microsoft Office applications.
